Wingnut Wrapup

Again, after a day of nothing, another day barely worth the trouble. However, trouble means nothing to Green Eagle, whose efforts never flag, despite the obvious massive decrease in detectable brain activity among conservatives (who would have thought that was even possible?)

Well, here goes:

Sandy Rios, Town Hall: "Marriage in Maine: Why We’d Better Fight"

Because we need to hate someone, and there aren't enough black people in Maine?

David Limbaugh, Town Hall: "The Public Option Is Not an Option"

Right you are, David. You're getting it, like it or not. And no matter how much you get paid to try to stop it. No matter what you did, you just couldn't convince people that grave illness is more fun when you combine it with bankruptcy.

Freedom Works: "Dems. are their own worst enemy"

You guys used to be our worst enemy, until you all went kablooie. Now all we have to worry about is Max Baucus and Joe Lieberman. And as disgusting as they are, at least they can't start any more useless wars.

So, all things considered, I'll take it this way.

John Hinderaker, Power Line: "Under the House bill, it is scarcely an exaggeration to say that health insurance companies are no longer in the insurance business."

Say that again, John, please. That's the happiest thing I've heard all week. No, really. I didn't believe things could work out so well for the American people.

Power Line: "Professor John Mueller is a political scientist at Ohio State who has a timely new book out. The book is Atomic Obsession: Nuclear Alarmism from Hiroshima to Al-Qaeda. Mueller's novel thesis is that we've been worrying far too much about nuclear proliferation. According to Isarel Lobby co-author Stephen Walt of Harvard, Atomic Obsession "is the most reassuring book ever written about nuclear weapons..."

The most patently ludicrous and false book, but also the most reassuring. If you enjoy believing lies.

John Hawkins, Pajamas Media: "Levi Johnston Is Trash, Plain and Simple"

So is the mother of his kid, and her mother too (get who I'm referring to here, guy?) They're all trash. At least Levi didn't try to shove himself down our throats as our vice president.

Gateway Pundit: "Patriot Joe Lieberman will back Republicans in the 2010 midterm elections."

Boy, that will help them. Mr. Pundit, there is no one on earth that gives a damn about Joe or his pronouncements. You are welcome to him. He'll fit in fine with the rest of you corrupt, lying Republicans.

Grover Norquist, Newsmax: "House Healthcare Bill Uses 'Tax' 87 Times"

In 1900 pages. Not so much, really. Now, if it had said "Republicans are congenital liars owned by the rich" 87 times, that would be interesting.

Chris Adamo, Renew America: "Can Republicans pander their way into leadership?"

Why not give it a try, Chris? It's worked for Republicans so many times before.

C. Edmund Wright, American Thinker: "Health insurance is too cheap and covers too much. Really."

Chris, you are at once the biggest, and most pathetic, right wing liar of the day. Really.

Rick Moran, American Thinker: "WaPo analysis shows at least a billion in stim money going to shady contractors. A little graft, a little corruption - who's counting when we're creating and "saving" jobs?"

I seem to remember tens of billions of Iraq money going to Halliburton, Blackwater, et. al. What I don't remember is you guys complaining about that, Rick. Had a sudden moral conversion, have we?
